Air Chathams – “Get the Chats on the MetService app”

Ahead of a recent trip to the Chatham Islands, we realised that despite being New Zealand’s number one domestic tourism destination, it didn’t feature on the MetService app. 

While Chatham Islands locals are more than happy to just look out the window, knowing what kind of clothing to pack ahead of their memorable, once in a lifetime holiday is important for visitors.

So we asked a brilliant cast of Chatham Island locals to do something about it, by appearing in a video showcasing the many kinds of weather the islands experience in any given morning, and asking MetService to #GettheChatsontheApp.

The day after the video went live, the issue had been covered by TVNZ Seven Sharp, RNZ and Stuff, and MetService promised to remedy this egregious oversight ASAP.
