Entrust - press ad & animated video
Entrust is a private trust that owns most of Vector for the benefit of 320,000 Auckland homes and businesses. Our campaign reminded people what Entrust was all about and to check their letterboxes for an important message from Kenny the Kingfisher.
Vector - bridge light
Vector has partnered with Auckland Council to light the harbour bridge with awesome computer-controlled LED lights, powered by solar and battery. We helped out by creating a vision of how the bridge will look when it’s lit up.
PartPay - website
PartPay is a New Zealand fintech business that’s changing the way we pay for things online. Our website introduced potential retailers and shoppers to this awesome new service. Click hereto view.
Orion - Ropata billboard
Orion Health is our favourite New Zealand software company, so we were well chuffed when they appointed us to create their billboard campaign. This is one of our favourites (you might need to get a New Zealander over 30 to explain it to you though…)
Invivo - GN wine range
Sales of the Graham Norton range have grown from 12,000 bottles in year one, to an estimated 2 million this year. TGF has been part of this from the beginning and have since added Rosé and Shiraz brands to the range.
Consult Recruitment is quite possibly the world’s best account and finance recruitment specialists, so we worked with them to make a website that was just as cool. Special goaty love to our friend Joe Michael for the photography. Have a look here!
Future of Energy - campaign
104,000 votes is almost more than the Auckland Mayoral Elections get… but that’s what this campaign got. Our client Vector Solar wanted to give 130 systems to deserving families, community groups and schools, so we worked with developers Two Tales to create a crowd nomination and voting platform, then rolled out a multi channel media campaign (everything from radio to buses and mobile banners) to get people involved.
Graham Norton is a big fan of Invivo Sauvignon Blanc. So in 2014 we took the relationship to the next level and asked him to tread the grapes for his own signature bottling. This year we got hands-on and let Graham blend his own wine. Graham Norton’s Own 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is already winning awards around the world.
Crown Fibre Holdings
Crown Fibre Holdings manages the rollout of ultra fast broadband across New Zealand. To celebrate completion in New Plymouth, Tauranga and Hamilton, TGF used a mix of social media and programmatic digital to deliver the Get Connected song writing competition message to 97% of all school aged teenagers and 58% of their parents.
Underarm deodorant is the new rock and roll… Vaughn wrote and creative directed this spot with our friends at Raydar. It features awesome kiwi rock chick Zowie, a selfie-cam rig that weighed as much as her and what some critics are calling the most OMG eyeleash shot on TV.
BNZ piggy banks - TV
Still one of New Zealand’s most loved bank ads years after it left our screens, Vaughn wrote and creative directed this campaign when he was at agency network Y&R. Josh Frizzell from Curious Films directed this spot. Fun fact: the moment where the piggy banks sellotape each others’ slots before swimming across the lake came from a research group comment. Yay research groups!
OnGas Mad Butcher – poster
Barbecue gas and sausages seem like a marriage made in heaven, but it took a bit of TGF matchmaking to find that first spark. We created a promotion that benefited both The Mad Butcher and our client OnGas, gave the customer a fantastic discount and cost neither company very much at all. Tasty!
Sungenie - magazine ad
SunGenie was Vector’s first domestic solar system. We created and brand and logo, as well as online and print ads like this one. (We took the photo on Instagram while walking the dog one night… which felt very modern at the time.)
Austral Bricks – multi media campaign
Making bricks stylish can be a challenge when many Australians see them as old fashioned and predominately brown. Our client Austral commissioned a multi media campaign to position bricks as stylish and very contemporary.
Brother Rally of NZ – TV
Printers… paper… rally cars… I know! We’ll print out a rally car and make it do awesome stuff in an office at night! Vaughn wrote and creative directed this one with Raydar. The slide around the reception desk is a standout as is the Dukes of Hazzard slo-mo leap. Auckland animation company Kaleidescope did the funky bits.
