The Goat Farm is New Zealand's best-connected ad agency. Like the Shriekback song said, we know lots of people! That includes musicians, painters, pilots, actual goat farmers, parents, long distance runners, wildlife photographers, free divers, petrolheads and scone bakers. And when we’re not doing that we’re a flexible network of experienced advertising and communications talent working collaboratively on exciting and meaningful projects. Oh yeah.
Steph Davies is the newest kid (get it) aka account director to the farm. Also juggling mum life with a job, Steph has fluffed up her cushion and got comfortable servicing our awesome clients now that she is back in business. Her bubbly nature will put you at ease, and her can do attitude means theres nothing she won’t get stuck into (except really hot chillies, that’s off limits).
Claire O'Connell is one of the most experienced social media minds in the country. She began her social media career with Myspace in 2006 in Sydney before going on to work at both Bebo and Facebook in London before returning to New Zealand at the beginning of 2013 to run Facebook's advertising operations here. Claire very recently left Facebook, in order to put use the knowledge and experience she has gained in social media to launch her own e-Commerce business.
Mark Michel is our digital producer. Mitch’s super power is delivering digital projects on time and on budget while somehow making sure everyone has fun along the way – skills he honed at mobile startup The Hyperfactory and crowdfunding platform Boosted. Mitch has also explored Antarctica, but not at the same time as Vaughn did.
Josh Lindsay and his company Direct Mail Solutions handle our print production and mailhouse work. Whether it’s sending thousands of perfectly addressed letters or creating and installing a giant muddy bootprint in a client lobby, Josh’s unflappability makes him an essential part of our extended family.
Vaughn Davis owns The Goat Farm and is its creative director. Vaughn’s an experienced CD and writer, a radio host and one of New Zealand’s best known social media professionals. He also once landed a large aeroplane on a floating ice runway in Antarctica, but that was ages ago.
